Preferences
Every setting in Routling's Preferences dialog, across all five tabs.

General#

| Launch on system startup | Starts Routling when you log in to Windows |
| Minimize to tray on close | Closing the window keeps Routling running in the tray. On by default - audio keeps flowing |
| Start minimized | Launches straight to the tray without showing the window |
Combining all three gives a routing setup that comes up with Windows and stays out of the way.
Session#

Set to None (fresh start) to open empty each time. Otherwise Routling restores your last state. See Sessions and State.
Language#
Display language - the interface ships in 10 languages. Node type names, audio terminology and the brand stay in English.
Devices#
Secondary Device Buffer#
Controls how many audio frames are buffered for secondary devices (WDM, WASAPI). A larger buffer reduces dropouts at the cost of latency.

This does not affect your primary ASIO device - that is the toolbar buffer. See Latency and Buffers.
Plugins#

Where Routling looks for VST plugins. Defaults:

Scanner#
Rescan Plugins re-reads every directory and reports the count found. Run it after installing new plugins.
Scanning loads each plugin briefly to read its details, so a large collection takes a moment.
Plugins must be 64-bit. See FX Module.
License#
Your plan, the email it is licensed to, active devices, and expiry if set.
